More about Scalp micropigmentation
Scalp micropigmentation is a specialised form of micropigmentation that is often used to address hair loss issues, thinning hair or baldness. SMP gives the illusion of a shaven or buzz-cut hairstyle, creating the appearance of a fuller looking head of hair.

Consultation
The first step in the process will be a consultation during which your scalp will be assessed and we will discuss your desired outcome. I will then recommend a suitable treatment plan.
Pigment
Once a treatment plan is in place we can discuss hair shape, this is done by mapping a shape on your scalp using a cosmetic pencil, next is pigment blend which will be matched to your natural hair colour, ensuring a natural looking result.

Application
Using a specialised tattoo machine the pigments are then strategically implant into the scalps upper dermis. I carefully place tiny dots that simulate the look of hair follicles. The density, Placement and angle of the dots are customised to achieve a natural appearance.

Multiple sessions
Scalp micropigmentation requires multiple sessions to build up the desired effect. This allows for the gradual layering and proper blending of the pigments for a realistic outcome.

SMP is a versatile option for individuals experiencing various stages of hair loss, from receding hairlines to full baldness. It can also be used to hide scars and add density after hair transplant procedures or other scalp conditions.
Ultimately, scalp micropigmentation can provide a natural looking solution for hair loss that requires minimal maintenance.
